Jimmy Don was born in Paducah, Kentucky on September 24, 1956, to the late James Scott Hendrickson and Jane Eva (Stein) Hendrickson.
He is survived by one brother, Eddie Hendrickson and wife Rhonda of Reidland; one nephew, Scott Hendrickson; two nieces, Tammy Hook and Amber Dripps; several great-nieces and nephews, Dylan Hook, Aliyah Hook, Sadie Hendrickson, Samuel Dripps, Emily Hendrickson, and Ethan Hendrickson.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Hendrickson; and two sisters, Doris Hendrickson and Kathy Hendrickson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Ford Cemetery in Marshall County with Pastor James Wright officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations made to Gospel Mission Worship Center Youth Department, 6905 Benton Rd, Paducah, KY 42003.
