Jimmy Matthews Obituary
Jimmy Carl Matthews, age 81, of Hernando, MS passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, MS. Mr. Matthews was born on December 12, 1941 in Camden, TN to the late Tommy Matthews and the late Ruby Hicks Matthews. He was also preceded by his wife, Sandra Joy Allen Matthews. Mr. Matthews was retired from CSX Raildroad after over 25 years and was a Baptist by Faith.

Sons: Allen (Cindy) Matthews of Hernando, MS
Dwayne (Shawn) Matthews of Hernando, MS
Jason Matthews of Corbin, KY
Sister: Sue Harding of Indianapolis, IN
Grandchildren: Samantha Matthews and Abigail Matthews
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 PM and again on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 10:00-10:45 AM at Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden, TN.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 11 AM at Camden City Cemetery with Bro. Gary Greer officiating.
