Jimmy Medina sadly passed away on September 17, 2025 at the UTMB Hospital, League City, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Emken-Linton funeral home in Texas City, Texas with a visitation from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Jimmy Medina was born on October 15, 1937 in Texas City, Texas.
Jimmy was a barber by trade and after retiring from barbering, he went on to manage a Sherwin-Williams paint store. He learned the business side and along with his great personality and quick wit, started his own business, Jimco Tools.
He is preceded in death by his wife of many years, Vicki Medina; parents, Joe and Concha Medina; siblings, Pauline Ramirez, Manuel Medina, Richard Medina, Joe Medina, Raymond Medina, Robert Medina, Henry Medina, and Rudy Medina.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as friends. He was the last of the siblings to pass away.
Pallbearers are Eddie Ramirez, Damien De La Rosa, Anthony Ramirez, Ethan Ramirez, Julius Ramirez, and Jason Garcia. Josue Molina and Lorenzo Huerta will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
