James Segar Sr, known as Jimmy, Jim Seg, Coach Jimmy, or just plain Coach was full of light, laughter, love and confidence. He had a way of making you believe you could do anything. Most met him through his first love, the game of basketball. Across many cities, counties, you’d hear stories of Jim Seg.
The only thing he loved more, was his family. He is proceeded in death by his father, William, mother, Jeanetta and baby sister, Marilyn Ann. Leaving his wife of 40 years, Kelly; children, Lociana (Charles), Nacetia (Brandon), Jovan, James Jr (Amanda) and Jessica, along with 10 grandchildren, sister, Anna Elizabeth and brother, Bill to carry on his legacy.
