Jimmy Charles Shrader, born June 28, 1951, in Mena, Arkansas and passed away on February 27, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. Jim lived a life marked by devotion to those he loved most and by the simple joys that brought him happiness

Jim was an Air Force veteran

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Javita Shrader, who stood by his side through life's many seasons. Children Anna Martin (Mike Martin), Christina Shrader, Michelle Biddle (Kevin Burley), Lavon Howell, Travis Norris (Chantelle Norris), Faith Shrader, Hope Shrader, Shayla Shrader, and Randi Shrader. Sisters Cheryl Ashmore (Dennis Ashmore), Pam Batcheller,(David Daniel's) Elsa Fix (Mark Fix) and Bobbi Snyder (John Snyder) He also leaves behind 17 cherished grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews and several others that he considered his and that considered him an influential father figure all of which will carry his memory, love and life teachings forward.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and James Shrader; his son, Phillip Shrader; his daughter, Dawn Marie Shrader; and his nephew, Dayton James Bunting.

Jim was known as MrFixit. In his early years he worked on race cars with his sister Pam Batcheller. He also had a love of fixing things around home and in his later years he found he enjoyed diagnosing issues and fixing computers. If anyone in the Family hadl a need to have something worked on or fixed they knew they could call on Mr.Fixit

Jim found great joy in the outdoors. He loved to fish and camp, often happiest beside the water or around a campfire with family and friends. He enjoyed playing darts, strumming his guitar, and singing songs that brought smiles to those gathered around him. Above all, Jim treasured time spent with his family. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or music, he created memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Jimmy Charles Shrader will be remembered for his love of family, his warm spirit, and the music and laughter he shared so freely. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A graveside with military honors will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 7th 2026 at the Conconully Cemetery. A gathering at the American Legion will be held at 12 Noon to share stories and each other's company following the graveside service.
