Jinny Kirk (née Clair), age 70, of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family.
Born in Bensalem on September 3, 1955, Jinny was the cherished daughter of the late Jane (Beyerle) and Herbert Clair. She was the devoted wife of John Kirk and the loving mother of Amy Mullica (Dennis), Stacy Kepner (John), and Michael Kirk (Heather). Jinny is also survived by her eight adored grandchildren: Tyler, Blake, Mia, Devon, Shaina, Hannah, Matilda, and Calvin.
Jinny dedicated her professional life to serving as a librarian, nurturing a love of reading and learning within her community. Her warmth, kindness, and quiet generosity touched the lives of countless friends, neighbors, and library patrons over the years.
Family and friends are invited to Jinny’s visitation on Friday, December 5th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA. A Memorial Service honoring Jinny’s life will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Jinny will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her compassion, her dedication to others, and her unwavering love for her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations to your local public library in Jinny’s memory, or to Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes in support of her grandson’s battle with Type 1 diabetes.
