Ashland, Kentucky. She was born on January 1, 1968, in
Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Joe Bill and Virginia Mattmiller Gordon. Jo's life was a testament to dedication, compassion, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in every endeavor she undertook.
Growing up in Little Rock, Jo was known for her vibrant spirit and inquisitive nature. Her childhood was filled with adventures and explorations, often alongside her cherished sister, Melanie Gordon. From a young age, Jo exhibited a keen interest in helping others, a trait that would later define her professional career. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Jo's remains will be cast to the wind off Tybee Island Georgia at a later date.
