Jo Klaassen Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels - Bloomington on Dec. 4, 2025.
Age 79, of Eagan, passed away November 18, 2025. Preceded in death by her husband, Norman Klaassen; parents, Chester and Juanita (Spurrier) Clark; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Julia Clark; brother, Leslie "Les" Clark; brothers-in-law, Samuel Klaassen and Willard Klaassen; sisters-in-law, Maxine Clark, Fran Clark, Loraine Thorn (Klaassen) and Marcella Ewert (Klaassen); and one nephew, Kelly Clark.

Jo Ann loved the Lord and was a member of Bethel Assemblies of God church and a secretary for the A/G District Office, both in Mpls, for many years. She was very involved with the girls Missionettes program at church. They nicknamed her "JoGo" because she was very active and always on the go with activities and helping others. In her later years, she worked at Michaels Arts & Crafts store. Her hobbies included reading, baking cookies and collecting various figurines and dolls.

Survived by brothers, Kenneth Clark, Vernon Clark and Clifford Clark; sister-in-law, Beth Clark; 16 nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews and friends.

Cremation arranged by Washburn-McReavy. Memorial service to be held Friday, February 6th, 2026, at 3 PM at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel in Bloomington. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service. Interment to be held at Lakewood Cemetery in Mpls in the spring.
