Jo Moon Obituary
Funeral services for Phyllis Jo Moon are on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the service time. Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Moon, 97, died on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Eiffel Garden Assisted Living, Paris. She is a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church and a retired secretary for an Oil tank production plant in Houston, TX. She was born on July 3, 1929, to John C. and Esther Carson Bunyard in Piedmont, MO.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold E. Moon, and her brothers George Bunyard, Don Bunyard, and Mac Bunyard.
