Jo Ann Mossow

Jo Ann Mossow (Meier), age 72, Baker, FL passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025. Born
on October 15, 1952, in Selma, AL (Craig AFB), she is the youngest child of Lt Col Henry C
Meier USAF (Ret) and Lorraine Meier. Being born, raised, then married into a military family,
she cherished all the experiences and memories frequent military transfers provided. She
arrived in Ft Walton Beach, FL in 1985, then moved to Baker FL in 2016. She loved her family,
friends and was a passionate animal lover, both domestic and wild. She was a very happy, fun
loving person who enjoyed boating, horseback riding, line dancing and just plain socializing.
Her energy for life, smiles, laughter and fun free attitude was addictive.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 52 years, Maj David N. Mossow USAF (Ret), Son Marcus
and wife Elizabeth, grandchildren, Ben and Emily. Her sister Donna Martin, husband Roger
Martin, and her brother Kirby Meier and wife Barbara Meier and her many dear friends.
A graveside burial service will be held Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11:00 at Beal Memorial
Cemetery, Ft Walton Beach, next to her parents. Arrangements are under the direction of
Emerald Coast Funeral Home.

Florida, Baker FL or any animal rescue organization of your choice
