Jo Lynn Pearce, 67, of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at her home.
Jo was born November 11, 1958 in Macomb, IL, the daughter of Richard L. and Betty C. (Rittenhouse) Pearce. She was raised and educated in Macomb and Monmouth, attending Monmouth High School.
Jo married Roger Thomas and later married Tom Brinton.
Jo worked as a CNA at Pinewood Nursing Home in Monmouth and then at Warren School for several years.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid Bingo player.
Survivors include her sons, Jeremy Thomas of Canada and Justin Thomas of Alexis, IL; 6; grandchildren, Jakob Thomas, Marius Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Jackson Thomas, Pearce Thomas and Lukas Thomas; her great-grandson, Kade Thomas; her father, Richard Pearce of Monmouth; her brother, Jeff (Terri) Pearce of Alexis; niece, Heidi Pearce of Monmouth.
She was preceded in death by her mother; granddaughter, Riley Thomas and her sister, Janna Pearce.
Cremation has been accorded. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Macomb will take place at a later date. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
