Jo Wallace Obituary
Jo Wallace, 88, of Atkins, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day.
An independent woman, Jo was a writer, mathematician, historian, florist, artist, and business owner. She was a published writer; worked for NASA and Winthrop Rockefeller; co-founded Picklefest, and co-owned Miss Scarlet's Flower Shop.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Wallace, daughter Charlene "Fidge" Sims, granddaughter Alisha Langston, and several siblings. She is survived by daughter Candy Hazel; granddaughters Misty Langston and Scarlet Sims; brothers John and Lonnie Haralson; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. A memorial celebration will be held in spring 2026.
