Joan "Jody" Andros was born in Ainsworth, Nebraska on July 13, 1927, and passed away in Houston, Texas on February 5, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Andros; her parents, Elmo Olson and Ruth Holt; her daughter Adrienne "Dede" Ferguson, and her brothers, Roger Olson and Bob Olson.
Joan is survived by her daughters, Julia Andros and husband Lazaro Mora, Emily Andros, and Penelope Andros; grandchildren, Lexxi Feguson, Zach Ferguson and wife Larissa, Cassie Salinas and husband Billy, Cody Ross, and Chelsie Salvador and husband Robert; great- grandchildren, Julian Naremore, Layla Salinas, Desi Salinas, Naomi Salinas, Miles Salinas, Teddy Salinas, Ruby Ferguson, Finn Ferguson, and Ryan Salvador; sister-in-law, Betty Olson; and numerous additional family, friends and loved ones.
Joan's family and friends will forever cherish the countless memories of her wisdom, love, and gentle spirit. She lived a long and beautiful life, filled with kindness, resilience, and devotion to those she loved. Though deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
A funeral service for Joan will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Klein Funeral Home, located at 16131 Champion Forest Drive, Spring, TX 77379. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Klein Memorial Park on FM 2920. A Celebration of Life will be held afterward at her home in Champion Forest.
