A beautiful tribute to a wonderful person. We think of JK every time we visit a National Park and whenever we drive through our old neighborhood in Narberth. So many memories of dinners and summer drinks on the porch. RIP dear friend. Loving thoughts to JoanB from Linda and Anna

We enjoyed knowing Joan, and will miss her, especially at our card games. Hand and foot won´t be the same without her. She was a special person.

So happy to have met you, Joan, but sad we didn't meet you earlier in life. Rest easy now. You are and will be missed.

I will always hold you both in my heart fond memories of Narberth, coming over to the Joanses for beers after softball, or making pasta dinner! Joan K always with a laugh or smile. A strong, solid friend. May you know peace, with love & bearhugs, Lynda

Sweet Joan, you are missed. I am so glad we had a chane to be friends A too short but very rich friendship, the pleasure of your card shark directions, your political insights, your jokes. You were immensely courageous facing such a terrible disease. I so admired you and wish I had found a way to say that to you when I last saw you..
Dearest Joan, what a terrible tragedy and loss: your love and companion and friend for so many decades. My heart is with you always during this sad time.

We loved playing the Hand & Foot card game with JK, and would jockey for seating position (along with everyone else!) to be her game partner. She taught all of us how to be much smarter players!
We will dearly miss that mischievous smile & twinkle. Love always, Lynn & Chris

I loved that she loved John and then continued to be such a very, very good friend to me after he died. I knew I was always welcome, particularly if I brought "gossip" (news of the park), and enjoyed watching the Phillies with her. I just lived her!
