Ayer, MA (born in Brighton, MA) formerly from Burlington, MA, Harvard, MA and Washington/Hillsboro, NH passed away peacefully March 5, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of Amedee Bourgeois (Waltham, MA). She was predeceased by her husband Amedee Bourgeois, her brother Stanley Jasoma and wife Barbara, her sister Patricia Merril and husband Donald, her brother John Francis (Bed) Murphy and survived by his wife Irma and predeceased by her brother Michael Murphy. She is survived by her son John Bourgeois and wife Eileen, daughter Janice Pokorski and predeceased by her husband John (Jay), survived by daughter Jean Peeples and husband Michael, and daughter Judy Bourgeois, predeceased by son James Bourgeois and daughter Joyce Bourgeois, and she is survived by her son Joel Bourgeois and wife Cathy.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was an accomplished award-winning artist.
She was loved and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be private for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in the name of Joan Bourgeois to His Mansion Ministries, PO Box 40, Hillsboro, NH 03244. His Mansion Ministries is a Christ centered residential care program.
