Joan Marie Chattin, 95, of Pottsville passed away Sunday, January 4th, at her daughters residence.
Born in Pottsville, on June 29, 1930, a daughter of the late James Morrison.
She was the widow of Joseph J. Chattin, to whom she was married to for 75 years. Joe passed away Friday, January 2, 2026.
She was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, class of 1949. She then worked at Pomeroy's, Pottsville until it closed and retired from Bon Ton, Frackville. She worked in clothing sales for over 60 years.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter Karen Ney, brother James Morrison and sister Evelyn Flail.
Joan is survived by her daughter Susan Hoffmann, wife of Robert, Blandon.
Services are private at the convenience of family.
