Joan Fleckenstein

Hi to all you wonderful Fleckensteins - thinking of your Mom today and as always it brings a smile to my face. She was one of a kind and we LOVED her. What a treasure she was to know and call our friend. I know you all realize what a great lady she was and you must miss her deeply. Please know that we are sending good thoughts and a few laughs too to remember such a special person.

Re: Silvestri, J.; there have to be many former jurors who remember Tipstaff John Bodnar who had a seemingly endless supply of entertaning "war stories". That courtroom was a home away from home. Take care.

One of my favorite lady from our growing up in Swissvale. She had a great life and a great family and she will be missed .

Joan and Fleck welcomed us with open arms when we bought our home in the mountains. They made sure we knew everyone and we shared so many laughs and stories it is impossible to count them all. The world was a brighter place because of Joan Fleckenstein and we will miss her dearly. Good by dear friend. I'm so sorry you have passed on but I'm so happy to have known you while you were here. Our love to a very special lady and her even more special family.

Joan and her irrepressible humor was always a source of entertainment, and inspiration, for me. She and your dad made quite a team. I'm so sorry for your loss Stacey, Leslie, and Bobby, and families. To Joan's family and friends, Ray and I extend our deepest sympathy. Joan was so warm and funny. Also, she was an outstanding marketing surveyor. When she called, we quickly found ourselves using products that we never imagined!! At her suggestion, I often use a craftsman belt sander! Joan will always remain in our memories and prayers

My dear-dear friend Joan - I am so glad I got the chance to see you a few weeks ago . . . if only to tell you how much I love you. To all of the Fleckenstein family - please accept my deepest sympathy. Each and every one of you were special to her, and she spoke of you often to me. I will always remember the stories of places you had traveled - the visits to my office just to see how I was doing or to catch up on news - and your delicious meatballs (no one could make them like you) and the genuine smile on your face. My most heartfelt sympathy to the entire family of this fabulous woman. Joan was the most happy, loving and caring person I ever met. She never had a bad word just a fun story and always a memorable giggle that I will always remember. She and Bob were a team and his passing was such a loss, but they are together again and together will watch over their flock. She will be missed by many.
