Dr. Joan M. Freimuth

I have memories of Joan (and Erik) as my Mom and Dad's dear old friends. I recall as a child and then a young teen, the family get-togethers were outrageous with the 7 of us kids being all over the place together, but mostly I remember all the parents becoming kids again: laughing a lot, sharing deep thoughts and old and new stories, the Dads -and later, me too - making lots of music on the piano together. Tremendous love and fun between us all!
Joan offered her wisdom, kindness and beautiful perspective to us all freely and it makes me sad to think of the world being without that now.
