Joan C. Freudiger, aged 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. She was born on February 17, 1940, in Covington, Kentucky, to William and Helen Concannon (nee Johnson).

Joan is reunited in spirit with her beloved husband, James G. Freudiger, Sr., her son Georgie, her parents William and Helen Concannon, her sister Kathleen Wilson, and her brother John Concannon. She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Susan Freudiger, her sons Steven, James (Loretta), and William Freudiger, as well as her sisters Rose (Charlie) Payne and Thelma (the late Jim) Noonan. Joan will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren Amanda, Autumn, Sarah (the late Clinton), Jaid, Veronica, Joseph, Kelsey, and great-grandchildren Natalie, Liam, and Leia, along with numerous other family members and friends.

Joan found great joy in spending time with her children, cherishing each moment shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, where she participated in various church activities. Her love for BINGO brought laughter and excitement to her life, and she took delight in shopping and giving gifts, especially during the Christmas season. Joan shared a special bond with the family dog, Bella, who brought her much comfort and companionship.

A visitation will be held in her honor at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:30 AM, followed by burial at St. Joseph Old Cemetery.
