Joan E Glos

Joan E. Glos (Lyons), age 86 of Northlake, passed away on June 21, 2022. She was preceded by her caring husband Florian Glos. The devoted mother to Mike (Pam) Glos, and Tim (Karen) Glos, loving grandmother to Matthew, Ruth, Esther, Elisheba, Joseph, Edward, and Andrew, and loving great grandmother to Elijah, Lydia, and Milo.
Joan was raised in Chicago and attended Kelly High School. After marriage, she moved to Leyden Township, and then Northlake. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, the Green Bay Packers, reading, collecting, and the casino. She loved talking on the phone to family and friends, especially to her sons and great friend Alice Baran. We fondly remember her whit, kindness, and easy going nature.
There will be no formal service at the request of our loved one. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
