Joan Haag-Beiter, 94, of Lansdale, died Friday, January 16, 2026. She was the wife of John "Jack" Beiter and the late C. Webster Haag, who died April 25, 2001.

Born May 24, 1931 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Kemp) Jenkinson.

Joan graduated from Lansdale High School (Class of 1949) and Bucknell University (Class of 1953) where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She worked as an elementary school teacher for many years, retiring from York Avenue Elementary School in 1993.

Joan was a life member of St. John's UCC, Lansdale, and was a member of numerous organizations, including the Pennsylvania Teachers Association, Penn State Alumni Association, Lansdale Women's Club, and the Lansdale Jaycettes. She was also a former member of Indian Valley Country Club, Glenhardie County Club, and the North Penn Hospital Auxiliary.

Her hobbies included traveling, tennis, golf, reading, fine dining, playing bridge, and Penn State football. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Additional survivors include her children, Rusty Haag (Kimberly Minix) of Jackson, MI, David Haag (Patti Lyons) of Cape May, NJ, and Leslie Byron of East Southampton, NY; seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Brittany, Stephen, Danica, Desmond, Grant, and Allison; six great-grandchildren, Otto, Kadence, Jonah, Elijah, Jocelyn, and Ethan with one more "on the way."

She is also survived by Jack's children, Jeff Beiter (Cheryl) and Justyn Beiter (Jen), both of Wayne, PA; and Jack's grandchildren, Haley, Carly, Campbell, Kyle, Khloe, and Katie.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, DL Byron; and Jack's son, Jay Beiter.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026 at St. John's UCC, 500 W. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Joan's memory to St. John's UCC, address above.
