Joan Kay Thacker Baker
JOAN KAY THACKER BAKER, the daughter of the late Robert Wendel and Katherine Louise Charles Thacker, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 26, 1953, and departed this life in Winchester, Kentucky on July 3, 2024, at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 7 days. She was a former clothing department employee for Meyers and was a member of the Beattyville Assembly of God.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her 8 brothers and sisters, Debbra Ann Trent and husband Herbert Carrel of Middletown, Ohio, Pearl Louise Townsend of Stanton, Kentucky, Wendle Keith Thacker and wife Brenda of Beattyville, Alan Darrell Thacker of Middletown, John Robert Thacker and wife Sherry of Maryville, Tennessee, Paula Denise Cales and husband Timothy of Middletown, Pamela June Whisman and husband Hurley of Beattyville, and Patrick Gerald Thacker of Tennessee; four half-brothers and sisters, William Thacker, Robin Perry, Vada Brummett and JR Thacker all of Tennessee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Marvin Jerome Thacker; and a brother in-law, Alton Townsend.
