Joan Frances Kelly (nee Tutty). February 9, 1933-January 10, 2025. Cherished daughter, sister, and aunt. Devoted wife to the late James Sr. Loving Mom to James Jr (Robin) and Thomas Sr (Mary Ellen). Doting Gram to James III (Megan), Rosemary (Adam), Thomas Jr (Stephanie), and Erin. Extra special Great Gram to James IV, Connor, Tyler, and Quinn. A cherished 40-year, extraordinary, mother-daughter bond with Mary Ellen. Our Mom always put everyone ahead of herself. She was our family matriarch and to whom all went for wisdom and guidance. She was the smartest person in the room, though in her humility, never sought to make it known. Mom was a proud catholic school graduate. She ran the family home while having a successful career at the IRS, rising through the ranks of management and the recipient of numerous awards and recognition. Mom devoted the past 30 years to her grandchildren. She stayed current reading, learning to use her iPad and making sure we were okay. Dad waited patiently during the last 17 years for his reunion with his bride and welcomed her home to the love of her parents and those who left before her. We will miss her every day. She lived as successful a life as anyone could hope for, and we are eternally grateful for her unconditional love. Your family loves you dearly, Mom, and you left a void that is deep and wide.
