Joan Koester, passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on November 12, 1943, Joan was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.
Joan is survived by her husband, Donald Koester; sons Scott Conway and Bryan Conway; grandchildren Eric (Tiffany) Conway and Dylan (Mackenzie) Conway; and great-grandchildren Mason, Daxson, Emersyn, and Adelynn Conway. She is also survived by her sister, Terri Hudson, along with a host of other family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence.
Throughout her life, Joan had a profound love for her family, often cherishing the moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit extended to her dog, Gidget, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.
Joan was preceded in death by her father, Harry E. Winn, Jr.; mother, Iris D. Winn; and brother, Robert Winn. The legacy she leaves behind is one filled with love, devotion, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
