Joan Maxwell Obituary
Born on November 29, 1929, in Watertown, Massachusetts, Joan was the daughter of a close-knit family and grew up alongside her brother Richard Perkins and sister Barbara Muise in Waltham. Her early years in Massachusetts laid the foundation for a life marked by quiet strength and enduring devotion to those she held dear.
Joan shared many cherished years with her late husband, Bradford Maxwell. Together they built a life rooted in love and family. Her legacy continues through her daughters, Melissa McCallum and her husband Scott McCallum of Buzzards Bay, and Kimberly Maxwell of Dedham. Joan was a proud grandmother to Jay, Brooke and Nicholas.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bradford, her brother Richard Perkins, and her sister Barbara Muise. Joan also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who were part of the extended family she held close throughout her life.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date .
