Joan Rita Rebicek, 89 years old of Camp Lake, WI; more recently of Silver Lake, WI passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022. She was born January 17, 1933 in Chicago, IL. On June 30, 1951, Joan married Ernest Rebicek, Sr. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wilmot. Everyone that knows her knows she loved her garden and her birds. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Most of all, Joan loved her family and grandchildren.
Joan is survived by her husband of over 71 years, Ernest; their seven children, Ernie (Merien) Rebicek, Jr., Chris (Mike) Perry, Frank (Nancy) Rebicek, Helen (Tom) Hair, Barb (Mark) Ketterhagen, Mary (Mike) Schlobohm, Rob Rebicek; her 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Bernice Conrad; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman (Victoria) Sorensen; her sister, Lois (Dick) Rebicek and her brother, Chuck Conrad.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 30100 Wilmot Road, Wilmot, WI 53179.
