Joan Rzeszut Obituary

Joan was born February 14, 1939 in Detroit the daughter of the late Elmer and Mildred (Miller) Case. She married Richard Rzeszut Sr. on March 2, 1957 in Romeo. They spent 54 loving years together until his passing on January 21, 2011.
She retired after many years as a secretary for Memphis Community Schools. Joan loved living on her farm with Richard. She was very involved as a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Richmond.
Joan is survived by her children, Rick (Cynthia Murray), Joni (Paul) Line and Todd (Paulette VanBennekom); grandchildren, Kristy (Jared) Vanlue, Daniel Rzeszut, Stacy Hoffman, Karen Hoffman, Jacob Rzeszut and Hailie Rzeszut; great-grandchildren, Macayla, Nicholas, Makenna and Tyler; sister, Maryann (David) Hunter.
She is predeceased by her husband Richard Rzeszut Sr; siblings, Barbara Case and Ted Case.
The family honors the memory of Joan's beautiful life and invites you to visit and share memories Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family."
