Joan Sampson was the beloved wife to James, cherished daughter to the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, loving mother of Tom, Paul, Gregory, Kevin, Steven, and Adam (Marine), proud grandmother, dear sister, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Joan leaves behind her siblings, Janbeza Miller (Bobby (d)) Children Robert Jr (d), Steven & Christopher, David Johnson (Cassandra) children Christina (William Nealey), Lucas, Caslen and Caeza, Walter Johnson (Susan) Elizabeth Johnson. Children Thomas Wolfe Jr. (Tamara) children Brittney Harris son Elijah, Thomas III (Trey) and Jalen, Deborah Sampson (d), son Michael, Paul Wolfe, Kevin Sampson (Amy), Greg Wolfe (Rose) children Parker (Darciann), Jackson, Easton, Seeley, Lilo and Bettlin, Adam Sampson (Maureen) children AnaLisa, Aiden, Paytin and Oliver, Stephen Sampson (Lisa) children Lucas, Lita, Starlete and Jensen and Tiffany Sampson (d). As well as many other relatives and Friends. Best friend to Rene, cousin to many, and missed by all.
The visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. located at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. A funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. that evening. Private cremation to follow with an interment to be scheduled at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium.
