Joan M. Schwamb

Joan M. Schwamb of Milwaukee went to her heavenly home on October 9th, 2025. She was born on October 16th, 1933. The daughter of Roy and Louise (nee Wittkopp) Wolter.

She became saved in 1975 going to church with her daughter Sally Baxter at Ambassador Baptist church. She lived her life for the Lord. She helped with a ministry her son in law Michael Baxter started called Gospel literature Mission. She helped with the food pantry and children ministry. Later on, she went to Calvary bible Church helped there with various church functions such as Awana's on Wednesday nights. She helped with sparks and tnt girls. She enjoyed going on walks and family time.

She will be Sadly missed by her loving daughter Sally (Michael) Baxter of WI. Five grandchildren Amy (Bronce) Adam, Briana Baxter, Elizabeth Baxter, Benjamin Baxter and Step grandson Daniel (Sharon) Baxter. She has three amazing great grandchildren that she cherished also.

She is further survived by sisters Judy (Bill) Rawlins of West bend, Diane Wolter of Waukesha, Gary (Marilee) Wolter of Florida and Dennis (Holly) Wolter of North Carolina along with nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday November 7th, 2025, at CALVARY BIBLE CHURCH at 11:00 AM for visitation with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM.
