Joan Smith Obituary
She was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on January 13, 1938, to Russell and Fern Henry.
She married Howard Smith in December 1955, and together they had three children: Jeffrey Russell, Shanna Lee, and Michael Howard. Joan and Howard later divorced.
Joan worked for the State of Idaho for 32 years, retiring in 2003.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and volunteered in many church and community callings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Fern, and her granddaughter, Adrienne Joan.
She is survived by her three children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on November 21st, 2025 11:00 AM, 11288 Roosevelt Avenue, Nampa, Idaho 83686, 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
