"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Elizabeth Stainer. Joan (“Jo”), a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, passed peacefully to her heavenly home on December 3, 2024.
She was preceded in death by husbands Robert Hanson and Lawrence Stainer. Her three daughters Christine Berridge (Thomas), Joy Valentine (Stephen) and Beverly Upperman (Bruce – deceased) grieve this loss while celebrating the love, kindness, and sweetness with which she touched the lives of family, friends, and all who knew her.
She happily lived her final years at Worthington Christian Village making many friends and blessing all who knew her. She loved much and was much loved. A celebration of her life service will take place at Worthington Christian Village on December 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. followed by greeting till 12:00 noon."
