Joan Cromwell Stall

Joan C. Stall, of Reisterstown, Maryland died on Friday, November 21, 2025, of a prolonged illness.
She was born Joan Cromwell Stall to Herbert A. and Thelma Spurrier Stall on July 20, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland. Joan graduated from Milford Mill High School in 1953. She received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Towson State University. Joan was a teacher at Sudbrook Jr. High and Deer Park Jr. High Schools. She became a school Counselor and enjoyed that job immensely.
Joan resided most of her adult life in Reisterstown, Maryland, where she was a devoted church member of Northminster Presbyterian Church until it closed. Joan was very active in the church and served two terms as an Elder.
Joan also ran the Mrs. Sykes Toy Project for 25 years. She also spent many years caring for others, especially for her dear friend, Terry.
Joan was preceded in death by her brother, Clay in 1970; her mother, Thelma in 1977; and her father, Herb in 1983.
Joan was dearly loved by her close friends! She will be greatly missed!
