Sullivan, Joan Rose (Langley), of Woburn, formerly of Arlington, passed away peacefully at her home on November 9th, 2025, at the age of 96. "Mother Goose" or "the dragon lady" as she was lovingly known by her family, was born in Arlington to the late Edward Langley and Gertrude 'Little Nana' MacDonald. Beloved wife of 71 years to the late Robert W. Sullivan, Sr. Loving mother of Maureen Cronin, her husband Larry of Estero, FL, Joan Bradley of Woburn, Donna Sullivan of Woburn, Robert Sullivan, his wife Laura of Beverly, Jane Daddario, her husband Tony of Medford, Nancy Flynn, her husband Tim of Beverly, David Sullivan, his wife Carol of Woburn, Judy Filipe, her husband Paul of Lynnfield, and the late Susan Stivaletta. Dear sister of the late Alice Rita Lavery, Robert Langley, Thom Mills, her twin sister Jean Caddigan, and Edward J. Langley. Proud and devoted 'Nana' or 'Gigi' to twenty-three loving grandchildren, the late Brendan Daddario and Donnie Bradley. She was blessed to have ten loving great grandchildren. Memories abound with love to all who were lucky enough to spend time with her in her second home in Winthrop, a place she was the happiest surrounded by grandchildren Joan is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.

Visiting Hours will be held from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. ARLINGTON, Friday, November 14th from 9 -11AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St., Arlington at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
