Sad to read about Joan´s passing. She was a distant cousin of mine, a generation apart. I only met her a couple of times, but I recall her being so very nice, so ambitious as well and on the go! I used to visit her parents, Harriet (Babe) and Leo, and my mother (Faye Nelson [Felch]) and I even stayed at their family cottage. My mother also took me to Joan´s grandmother´s house when visiting as a very young boy. This was my grandmother´s sister, (Aunt Elma), and my grandmother was Mabel Felch (Ellison). My condolences to William, and all of their extensive family.

I remember Joanie playing her saxophone in the Peshtigo High School Band. She was such a pretty girl and always looked immaculate. R.I.P., dear Joan. A very special person.

Smile when you remember all the wonderful times you enjoyed together.
