Obituary of Joann Louise Dienhart
Joann Louise Dienhart, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, graduated to glory on Monday, February 26, 2024, age 93.
Joann was born on November 10, 1930 in Flint Michigan, first born of 4 daughters to Alger and Pauline Olcott. She married Robert Leon Dienhart on April 22, 1950, in Flint, Michigan, and later that year moved to Glendale, Arizona. They were blessed with 73 years of marriage, and 2 sons.
Survivors include her husband Robert, her sons David (Diane) and Timothy (Miriam), 7 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren. Also 2 sisters Dorothy Jiron and Sue (Bob) Strayer both of Arizona, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
One sister, Mary Martin of Arizona, preceded her in death in 1993.
Joann was a wonderful homemaker and hostess with a gift of serving others. She loved flowers and gardening and worked in several flower shops. She was known for her knitting which were gifts to many loved ones. Camping in the mountains and traveling with her husband and family were a great pleasure for her. Being born again of God, her life manifested her love for the Lord Jesus Christ. His word was her absolute and focus throughout her lifetime here.
One of her favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-6.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at Flahiff Funeral Chapels, Caldwell, Idaho. Interment will follow at Marsing Homedale Cemetery in Marsing, Idaho.
