JoAnn Gardner

JoAnn Gardner, 82, of Sarasota Florida passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, with her loving son by her side. Born in Albany, NY on October 5, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Dorothy L. (Hamlin) Halsted. JoAnn is survived by her loving son Todd and two grandchildren Tess and Joshua, her sisters Dayle Raynor, Linda Lee (Tony) Williams, and Hope (Al) Zielinski. JoAnn is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents JoAnn is predeceased by her brother-in-law Edwin Raynor. During her lifetime JoAnn worked for Greenville Christian Life Center for many years. Funeral services will take place on Monday October 6, 2025, at 11 AM at the City Church Ravena (formally Abounding Love Church), 2480 US Route 9W, Ravena, NY 12143. Calling hours will take place at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM. Burial will follow in the family plot of Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore, NY.
