JoAnn Dineen Healy, 54, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones and pups on October 14, 2025.
Born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, JoAnn carried her New England roots - and her Irish pride - with her throughout her life. She earned her undergraduate degree from Western New England University and her master's degree in Communication from Emerson College.
A dynamic and accomplished professional, JoAnn built a distinguished career in financial technology and banking, holding global leadership roles that showcased her intelligence, creativity, and drive. She most recently served as Director of Capital Markets Marketing for Chainlink Labs. Previously, she held senior positions as Director of Strategic Communications for Digital Asset, as Head of Marketing and Communications for Assurely, and as Global Head of Communications at S.W.I.F.T.
Beyond her career, JoAnn's passions painted the true picture of who she was. She was deeply proud of her Irish heritage and grew up training and performing Irish Step Dancing at the John Boyle O'Reilly Club in Springfield and later competing often in ISD World Championships. After having children, Joann became an avid skier and a professional ski instructor. Surrounded by the people she loved, JoAnn was happiest "schmearing" and bumping down the slopes at Okemo Mountain and Killington Resort in central Vermont.
JoAnn is survived by her husband of 23 years, John Robert "J.R." Ford; her son, Finbar "Finn" Ford, her daughter, Caelinn Ford and her two cherished Chessies, Rocket and Mowgli.
She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Healey Wiegand and husband David and their daughter Norah, and her brother, Stephen Healey and partner Kacie Sizemore. JoAnn also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family and dear friends who will miss her grand smile, laughter, light, and love.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 27, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will follow on Tuesday, October 28, at 11:00 a.m. at St. James RC Church, 94 Broad Street, Red Bank.
