JoAnn Henault Obituary

JoAnn Rose Henault, 74, born in Pittsfield on October 13, 1949 to William and Bernice Vincent Kinna at Berkshire Medical Center.

JoAnn attended school in Lanesboro, as well as Mount Greylock Regional High School. She attended Berkshire Community College and earned her bachelors degree.

JoAnn married James R. Henault on July 3, 1980. They were happily married for 43 years until the day she passed.

JoAnn had a variety of jobs, some were: working for the City of Pittsfield, Johnson Ford, and a solar company.

Her favorite job was working as a teachers aid at Lanesboro Elementary School for over 20 years. She was lovingly known as Mrs. H to her students. JoAnn made an impact on quite a few generations of children's lives.

Being that she was born on Friday the 13th in October, her favorite holiday was Halloween. The whole family helped her with elaborate set ups in the front yard to scare the neighborhood children, which ended up getting her in the Berkshire Eagle several times.

JoAnn enjoyed sewing, reading, teaching, playing online games, talking with the neighbors, but mostly enjoyed being a mom.

JoAnn is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Henault; son, Paul W. Lamon; sister, Maureen Jennings and husband Steve; brother, Michael Kinna and wife Nancy; sister, Gail Smith and husband Jeff. She also leaves her grandchildren Ayden James Lamon, son of Paul Lamon and Rebecca Perrault, and Kaylee "Ace" Lamon, and Zachary Lamon, children of David and Desiree Lamon.

JoAnn was predeceased by her son, David J. Lamon and brother William Kinna.
