JoAnn Meinen (nee Belschner), born May 28, 1934, was called home to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on her 91st birthday. She spent her last day on earth showered with loving messages and surrounded by her family. Thank you all for that!

She spent her childhood in Rosedale and graduated from Penn Hills/Seneca High. During her married years the family lived in Verona, PA, followed by 60 years in the home she and her husband built in Plum Borough.
She richly enjoyed family, friends, stage plays, musicals, music, dancing, reading, decorating, crafts, shopping, singing cute songs, playing games, card club, countless hands of Pinochle, and vacation adventures.
Described by many as a beautiful person and a shining example of being gentle, encouraging, caring, giving, kind, and supportive love shined through her. Many benefited from her valuable life lessons.
She had a strong work ethic and loved working. She met her husband while both worked at General Motors. She raised her children as a stay-at-home Mom, then re-entered the workforce and retired as a Business Office Manager.
A devoted Christian, JoAnn enjoyed church, Bible studies, Women of Faith conferences, and the Holy Rosary Society. Gifted with a serving heart, she volunteered for decades at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plum. She served as a Lector, and on many ministries including Welcome, Rectory, Eucharistic, and Bereavement.
