Joann Ludlam Mixon

Mrs. JoAnn Ludlam Mixon, age 78, of Noma, Florida passed away May 23, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was born September 2, 1944, in Muskegon, Michigan. JoAnn was preceded in death by her father, Victor Charles Ludlam, her mother, Elouise Justice Myers, and one brother, Jasper Alan Myers.
Mrs. Mixon is survived by her husband of 40 years, Coy Mixon of Noma, FL, five children, Jimmy Wayne Mixon and wife Nikki of Noma, FL, Johnny Wayne Mixon of Geneva, AL, CJ Mixon of Panama City, FL, George Goodson of Panama City, FL, and Sherry Myers and husband Bobby Gene of Bonifay, FL; twelve grandchildren, Justin, Katilyn, Jared, Samuel, Erica, Amber, Megan, Mindy, Joshua, Gene, Colby, and Breanna; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Renda Gail Sanders of Panama City, FL; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Friday, May 26, at Peel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 27, 2023, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitch Johnson and Rev. Debra Sapp officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
