JoAnn Piacentini Obituary
Piacentini, JoAnn (Jody) Linette
JoAnn (Jody) Piacentini, 91, passed away on September 30, 2024. Born on May 4, 1933, in Alton, Jody was the daughter of John and Etta Mae Webber and granddaughter of the Alton Fire Chief William F Feldwisch, a fact she was always quick to point out. She graduated from Alton High in 1952 and married Cecil Andrews. They moved to Chicago as Cecil served in the Army. They came back to Alton in 1955. Cecil preceded her in death in 1975. In 1986 she married Joseph Piacentini, he preceded her in death in 2003. An independent, proud Altonian, dog lover, Cardinals fan, Tom Jones fan, late night comedy fan, Imo's pizza lover with a wry wit, she will be missed by her family and friends. Jody is survived by her daughter, Cathi and son-in-law Sam, two grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
