JoAnn enjoyed watching wrestling, true crime shows and documentaries; she loved Coca-Cola and her dog, Banks. She was a person that would do anything for anyone that needed help. She was also so proud of her children and loved great grandchildren so much.
Survivors include three children, Connie Simpson of Danville, Brandon Fox (Jessica) of Brodhead, KY and Daniel Fox (Mary) of Stanford, KY; three brothers, Kenny Fox, Randy Fox and Eric Gilliam; eight grandchildren, Katie Simpson, Blaze Fox, Kelzi Fox, Austin Miles, Conner Catron, Jacob Catron, Madison Catron and Jacob Tillett; one great-granddaughter, K'lani Simpson on the way; husband, Ricky Sutton and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mom, Myrtle Kidd; her first husband, Kelvin Devine and her second husband, Freeman Denny.
A one-day service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
