Joanna Arrigo Obituary
JoAnna was a dedicated employee of the City of Wheaton for 34 years. She went above and beyond her own duties to help all her co-workers and always had a smile for everyone she greeted. Outside of work JoAnna loved being home with her cat, Sophie, who she adopted 9 years ago. She also enjoyed many hobbies including baking, old movies, tap dancing, skiing and we can't leave out her love of Elvis Presley. JoAnna's brightness brought so many people happiness. She was the one everyone asked if she was coming to at any family get together. When her Jeep pulled in the driveway everyone rushed to see who would get the first hug. Her nieces looked to her for advice, and she always had words of wisdom for them. Her bright light will always shine for all of us.
Visitation Sunday December 28, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187. Services conclude at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations appreciated to Anderson Humane @www.ahconnects.org

I am so sorry to learn about the loss of Joanna. She and I worked together on so many projects. She was always accurate, friendly, kind, efficient, eager to help in anyway. Such a loss for our community. I run a not for profit that helps kids with books. So I purchase books for low income/needy children in honor of friends who pass away. I will order some books in Joanna's honor. Kindness, cats, I think I have actually seen a kids book about a Jeep - soooo that is how I will honor her memory.
