Joanna (Light) Gasparro of Canton, age 34, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Joanna Kristine was born on August 25, 1990, in Florida, the daughter of the late Stacy Light. She was raised by her mother and later "Dad" Martin Marbaker of Canton.
Joanna Kristine attended Canton High School and on May 30, 2009, she married her high school sweetheart, James Gasparro. They shared 15 years of marriage and raised 2 daughters, Jaylynn and Juiletta, still at home.
Joanna became a CNA and was employed at the Darway Nursing Home in Estella. She was a very dedicated nurse and was loved by her coworkers and clients alike. She was a kind-hearted person with a sense of humor and was the "light" in every room. Joanna devoted all her spare time to her husband and daughters. She was a nature girl at heart and loved the outdoors. Boating, hiking, jeeping, and anything in the ocean were her favorite family times. She was a very loyal person with a huge group of friends and will be dearly missed by everyone.
