Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 22, 2008 at St. Joseph Church for Joanna Rita Hebert, 75, who passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Reverend William Gearheard, Pastor of St. Joseph Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectures will include Kimberly Wooten and Brandi Olivier. Entombment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Hebert, a resident of Milton, LA, was the daughter of the late Charles Comeaux of Youngsville, LA and the former Emelia Duhon of Youngsville, LA. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is survived by husband, U.L. Hebert of Milton; three daughters, Sandra Hebert of Milton, Cindy Hebert and husband Widley of Maurice, Carla Leger and companion Pat Boudreaux of Scott; three sons, Daniel "Pas" Hebert and wife Tina of Milton, Gary "Pookie" Hebert and wife Rachael of Maurice, Kenny Hebert and wife Christy of Youngsville; fifteen grandchildren and five step grandchildren; one sister, Willie Mae Menard and husband Robley of Lafayette; one brother, Rodney Comeaux and wife Beverly of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Todd Hebert and a daughter, Becky H. Wooten. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until service time. A Rosary will be prayed in the funeral home Thursday evening at 7:00 PM. at Delhomme Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Daniel Hebert, Gary Hebert, Kenny Hebert, Jordan Hebert, Wesley Hebert and Benton Hebert. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Karen Roden and her staff and the nurses on the 5th floor at Our Lady of Lourdes.
