JOANNA MARTINEZ 7/25/1953 - 11/25/2025 Joanna M. Martinez, age 72, of Paulding, OH passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at her home. She was born in Paulding, OH on July 25, 1953 to her parents, Warren and Olga (Gonzales) Lucas. Joanna worked for over 30 years at Federal Mogul, Van Wert, OH before her retirement. She was a member of Branch Christian Fellowship, Paulding, OH. She loved bingo, playing golf, pool, darts and played softball where she was a pitcher. Above all, Joanna was the most selfless and loving person you would ever meet! She is survived by her mother, Olga Rocha, Paulding, OH; children: Emmanuel Lucas, Paulding, OH; Terri (Noe Gabarette) Gomez, New Haven, IN; Brian (Jamie Phlipot) Godoy, Paulding, OH; sisters: Juanita Martinez, Paulding, OH; Kathy (Wesley) Goings, Latty, OH; Mary Goings, Paulding, OH; Elena (Michael) Davis, Springfield, MO; grandchildren: Keagan (Brooke) Godoy, Fransico Napoles, Jr., Madison (Adam) Ellert, Karissa (Alesha) Lucas, Claudia Napoles, Kaela Lucas (Britton) Whittaker, Emily Jewitt, Elsie (Brendan Starkey) Godoy, Nicholas Jewitt, Addison Vance-Zuber, Gerson Gabarette; great grand children:Ezra Godoy, Mateo Napoles, Elijah Godoy, Brooks Starkey, Allison Joann McVay, Omar Napoles. Joanna is preceded in death by her father, Warren Lucas. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2025 at Branch Christian Fellowship, Paulding, OH with Pastor Greg Cramer officiating. Burial will take place in Live Oak Cemetery, Paulding, OH. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, OH. There will also be visitation for one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.
