It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Joanna Pizarro, on September 26, 2025. A loving and compassionate soul, Joanna was born on May 28, 1982, in Springfield, Massachusetts. She was the life of the party, full of charisma and a loving spirit.
Joanna had an undeniable love for her family, especially her children, Siera Rivera, Jaylee Matos, and Bella Matos. She was a fiercely loving mother, a loyal friend, and a compassionate sister. Joanna had a witty sense of humor that could spread across the room. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit was unbreakable, and her love was unconditional. She was a successful Sales Manager at a local retail store, but her true passion was being creative expressing it through her hair. She found joy in sharing her experiences, whether it was hairdressing techniques or life lessons.
Joanna is survived by her loving parents, Luis Pizarro and Gloria Diaz; her cherished children, Siera, Jaylee, and Bella; and her devoted sisters, Luz Delgado and Vanessa Velez. Despite the void left by her absence, we are comforted by the memories of her vibrant personality, her strength, and her passionate love. We invite all who knew her to join us in celebrating Joanna's beautiful spirited life at the Puerta Del Cielo Funeral Home, 730 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01109, on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
We encourage all who loved Joanna to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page as we memorialize the life she led and the lives she touched. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us, and her she will forever be etched in our hearts. It is not a goodbye, but a see you later. We love you!
