Joanna Stellakis, 82, of Raynham, formerly of Brockton and Easton, cherished mother, grandmother, and friend passed away October 14, 2025, after a brief illness.
Joanna was a beautiful soul, full of life, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and faith. She was a lifelong member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton, where she served as an officer and member of the Parish Council for 27 years, a Sunday School teacher, a GOYA adviser, a member of the Philoptochos, and founder of the bookstore, and where she performed hundreds of other roles that most people never knew because she preferred to serve silently, humbly, and above all devoutly.
She loved her family and treasured being a YiaYia, a job she performed with gusto and great pride. She is survived by her children, Nicholas (and Sefany) Stellakis of Andover, Stephen Stellakis of Swansea, and Katherine (and Jason) Joyce of Hanson; her grandchildren, Jason, James, Lukas, Alexandra, and Matthew; and many loving relatives and friends, including a special group who shared an unbreakable bond through every stage of life. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Effie Kalombratsos.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, October 22nd from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak Street, Brockton. Funeral Service to follow immediately at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Melrose Cemetery. Donations in Joanna's memory may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton. May her memory be eternal.
