Joanne Ross Adkins

I was so sorry to hear about Joanne's passing. I always enjoyed visiting with her and "Cousin" Elmer when they visited my parents, Dink and Oleta Richardson, in Marble Falls. I know that you, her dear family, miss them both. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I first met Joanne in the Canary Islands in 1969 when I was visiting my parents after finishing High School. I then connected up with her and Elmer when they were in Scotland in 1973 after finishing my Degree in College. They invited me to come live with them and I did the Summer of 73´. I loved everything about the two of them. Joanne and I had so much fun together that Summer. We would take off and go hunting for little antique stores in the Country side. Both Elmer and Joanne treated me like their daughter. After my own Mom died, I told Joanne she was my Earth Mom. We talked weekly. I loved her and she always told me she loved me after every call. I will miss her so.
