Bronson, MI - Bronson, Mich – Joanne Teresa Davis, 85, of Bronson, Michigan, formerly of Garrett, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at her home. She was born on October 15, 1940, in Scranton, PA, to Francis and Mildred (Martin) Nolan. Joanne was a registered nurse and certified rehabilitation therapist. She cared for patients at the Garrett Hospital, Sacred Heart Nursing Home, and at DeKalb Memorial Hospital and retired after 40 years of dedicated service to her field. She belonged to the Garrett Garden Club, led the "Candy Stripers" hospital volunteers, and was a Boy Scout leader. In her free time, she would enjoy traveling to casinos with her husband and visiting her brother in Florida.

On January 1, 1970, in Scranton, PA, Joanne married David Davis. He survives in Bronson, Michigan. Also surviving are sons, Ernest Davis of Indianapolis and Gregory (Tracy) Davis of Garrett; brother, Francis "Butch" Nolan of Clearwater, Florida; sister, Mary (Dominic) Newberry of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Zachary, Sabrina, and Sierra; and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00am, Saturday, February 28, 202, at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 CR 56, Garrett, IN. Tom Novy will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-6:00pm on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Christian Union Cemetery near Garrett.
